Event Description:
Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors is a joint training program provided by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu Engineer District (HED) and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, NAVFAC Pacific.
This training is a mandatory certification requirement for an appointed Contractor Quality Control System Manager (CQCSM) that is good for 5 years.
Due to high demand, only two (2) employees per company, per course. You will receive an EMAIL CONFIRMATION if no seats are available.
First Priority -- FEDERAL JOB AWARD LETTER (copy) as a General Contractor must be sent with registration at gca@gcahawaii.org.
Second Priority (No confirmations until 1 week prior to class.)
Requirements for Students:
NAVFAC will be providing an "on-line" training via Microsoft TEAMS and proctor test at the end of training. The test will require students to keep cameras on during the test and take a picture of their answer sheet then send photo of their answer sheet to matthew.j.young@navy.mil. After verification from NAVFAC that photo was received and legible, the student may leave the on-line session. Results will be provided the next day via email provided.
Student shall not be allowed to share devices and must be in separate rooms or at least 10ft apart if in the same room. Invitees to the Class will be provided by email. The email will contain the link to the "live" CQM class. Certificates will be available for pick up the following week if students pass the test at the end of training.
Computer and cellphone with camera with internet access. Students will need to have downloaded Microsoft TEAMs App. Students will have to have pen/pencil and papers. Student Guide will be distributed to students prior to class.
