  • Committee Purpose Statement and Specific Goals for 2018

    Committee Purpose Statement

    The purpose of the GCA Construction Education Committee is to:

    • Provide educational opportunities for members and non-members in the construction industry;
    • Monitor the development of Construction Project Management Program at the University of Hawaii
    • Implement AGC educational programs.

    Specific Goals for 2018

    1. Offer an AGC developed Supervisory Training Program (STP) class and encourage on-line training.
    2. Maintain rapport with the UH College of Engineering and the UH School of Architecture, investigate and suggest possible research projects through the recommendations of other GCA committees (Government related committees, Education Foundation Board, and Safety Committee).
    3. Sponsor and Co-sponsor other educational opportunities.

  • Committee Meeting Schedule

    The Committee meets bi-monthly on the fourth Thursday at 10:00am, unless noted.
