    Committee Purpose Statement:

    The purpose of the AIA-GCA Committee is to create a better understanding of each other’s roles and concerns in the industry, to foster better relationships between the members of both organizations, and to provide venues of common interest that will bring members of the AIA and GCA together.

    Specific Goals for 2019:

    1. Maintain current format of “board room” style meetings, providing information session for GCA and AIA Members.
    2. Schedule site visits in addition to board room meetings. Visits to encompass broader topics to generate higher attendance and interest.
    3. Meet with AIA organization to understand their needs, share synergy and develop a collaborative event/session.
    4. Boost GCA and AIA attendance to GCA/AIA committee meetings.

    The Committee meets quarterly as scheduled at 11:30 a.m., unless noted.


    All scheduled meetings to be held at the AIA Honolulu Office, Center for Architecture, 828 Fort Street Mall, Rm 100. A meeting notice/agenda will be sent to all members prior to the meeting date.
